KSDE will be hosting EIGHT regional training events for Mathematics during the 2017 - 2018 school year.

REGISTRATION LINK AND SESSION DESCRIPTIONS
These events will:
- Be a full day trainings beginning at 8:00am and concluding by 4:00pm
- Have the same sessions so find the date that best fits your schedule
- Have sessions for administrators, elementary teachers/coaches, and MS/HS teachers/coaches
- Cost $35 per attendee
- Graduate credit will be available for an additional fee

- October 9, 2017 – Lansing
- October 23, 2017 – Olathe
- November 6, 2017 – Fort Hays State University
- November 13, 2017 – Newman University
- February 5, 2018 – Garden City
- February 12, 2018 – Junction City
- February 19, 2018 – Pittsburg

- General Session for All: 2017 Mathematics Standards and Power of Mathematical Growth Mindset
- Administrator Session: Introduction to the Mathematics Teaching Practices (High Leverage Teacher Actions), Curriculum Selection Process, and Shaping Formative Math Assessments to Work for You
- Elementary Session: Building Procedural Fluency from Conceptual Understanding in the areas of: Fractions and Geometry
- MS/HS Session: Building Procedural Fluency from Conceptual Understanding in the areas of: Expressions and Equations
